Every great mix starts with a single note.

For Olayinka Adebayo, known professionally as Dr. Crackthat first note was played on a keyboard in Akure, a city in southwestern Nigeria. There was no world-class studio, no premium equipment, and no clear roadmap. What he did have was an enduring fascination with sound and an unwavering commitment to mastering it.

More than two decades later, that curiosity has grown into a career spanning z. Through major productions, industry training, and mentoring, Dr. Crack has helped organisations deliver exceptional audio experiences while equipping the next generation of audio professionals with the skills to excel.

Ask him what continues to drive his work, and the answer is simple:

"No sound engineer should ever have to guess their way through an event."

That philosophy continues to shape every system he designs, every team he leads, and every engineer he mentors. It influences the way he approaches consulting, the way he teaches emerging professionals, and the standards he expects from every project he undertakes.

Whether designing complex audio systems, advising organisations, or standing behind a front-of-house console before thousands of people, his mission remains unchanged: to combine technical excellence with purposeful leadership and leave the industry stronger than he found it.
